  • WHY POSITIVE EDUCATION?

Currently as individuals and as a community we are experiencing unprecedented levels stress. Stress can be healthy and helps us achieve, excel and create. Unfortunately the stress we are experiencing can be toxic and this type of toxic distress is the cause of poor mental and physical health and wellbeing.  Scientific evidence continues to support the value of mindfulness, cultivating helpful or positive emotions and operating from a strength capacity as a way of combatting the impacts of ill mental health.

These concepts of positive education are taught as skills in The Positivity Project and are effective ways to develop character strength, resilience, self care and create the conditions necessary to experience a flourishing life style. The broadening of an individual’s social and emotional capacity also has a upward spiral / positive ripple effect on their community.
